I lost my virginity in the back of a truck. It wasn’t romantic, it wasn’t perfect, and it most definitely wasn’t how I thought it would happen.
I was at a party that someone in my grade was throwing. Nothing unusual for a Saturday night. The only strange thing was a group of people in our grade that we never normally hang out with decided to ‘crash’ I suppose. Personally, I wasn’t too bothered. I didn’t really know them very well, but it wasn’t like they were strangers. The footballers were very annoyed by it though. They got progressively drunker and more riled. They were being bosterous and showing off a bit. One of them thought it would be funny to grope me in places that I didn’t appreciate him touching. Being more than pissed off, I went outside.
That’s where he was. One of the ‘crashers’, Max. He was the biker, rebel type. I’d known him for a long time without really ever knowing him. We just never mixed.
He was sat on the edge of his Chevy truck looking very bored. He said he saw what had just happened and asked me if I was alright. I was suprised and flattered by his concern. I told him I was fine and we got talking. I don’t really know why I agreed to go for a drive with him, but we ended up going to a place we call the City Peak. It’s just a small, enclosed space right on top of the city. He offered me a beer and we just drank and chatted.
Inevitably, one thing led to another and before I knew it, we were making out at undressing. I’d never wanted to take it further with anyone else, but this felt right. We had sex and it was a little painful, but okay. It was nice. It felt good and I enjoyed myself. Luckily he had a blanket so it was pretty comfortable. We didn’t talk much afterwards. He drove me home and that was it.
That monday at school, I saw him. We smiled at each other and that was it. We still have the knowing eye contact every now and then, but nothing ever happened with us. But, he’s a good guy and I’m glad I lost my virginity to him.
