I’d always been very scared about losing my virginity, I’m a very old-fashioned person and I only believe in having sex with someone you love, as I’ve been brought up to think that way and agree with it. Me and my boyfriend had been together for a while,and I lost my virginity to him this month actually, on valentines day. We were on his bed, it was late and there was music in the background. We were kissing and hands were flying everywhere so we were both very excited.Eventually he looked up at me and said: “Do you want to?”
I was very nervous but I said yes anyway, as I’d been thinking about having sex with him for a while and ‘in the mood,’ He put on a condom and slipped inside me, and the pain was that intense that my legs started shaking uncontrollably and I told him to get out of me as I was panicking. He could see that I was in pain and he told me to relax as my body would get used to him, and while it did he kissed me softly and stroked my hair. When the pain went he slowly pushed himself in and out, and I began to enjoy myself, which I was really surprised at because I’d heard so many horror stories that I was completely terriffied of losing my virginity, and was starting to treat it with a ‘lets get it over with,’ attitude.
Every so often he would look at me and ask me if I was okay which I thought was lovely.
So despite my pre-judgement of sex, I had a romantic and lovely way of experiencing it for the first time as it was with my boyfriend who I love very much and it was on Valentines day which made it even more special.
Admittedly, I am only 15 but I’m not ashamed to say that I’m no longer a virgin, I feel lucky that I gave it away to an incredibly lovely person who adores me. We are still together and very much in love.-
