It started 5 years ago. I got a job as a flight attendant for United Airlines. I was 25 at the time. A couple weeks after I was hired, I met Steve, who was the Captain on one of my flights. He was cosiderably older — actually 50 at the time — but he looked ten years younger. He was tall, handsome, black (graying around the edges) hair, and every bit a gentleman. The ring on his finger told me that he was married. Still, I was very much attracted to him.On the flight over to Honolulu, Hawaii, he paid some considerable attention to me, too. The routine on these intercontinental flights is that you have a couple of days at your destination, to rest up, before flying back to the States. The whole crew, of course, stays at the same hotel, and on this particular trip we were staying at a very nice place right on the beach.During the day, Steve and I got lots of sun, and in the evening, we had dinner together. When we were retiring for the evening to our respective rooms, Steve asked me if I would like to come in for a drink, and of course, I gladly accepted. One thing led to another that night, and I ended up spending the night in his bed. My God, could he make love! I’d only slept with one other guy in my life, but Steve’s lovemaking was very special! I was in heaven. The next night was virtually a replay of the first and then we flew back to the States. Well, it’s been 5 years , and we have literally flown around the world together.And we’ve had sex hundreds of times while on these trips, which has been very satisfying for both of us. He is still happily married. I’ve never met his wife, but I’ve seen pictures. She’s his age, but very pretty.Some people might say I am crazy for getting involved like this, but it suits me just fine. I’m not interested in marriage right now, but I do like the sex, and so does Steve. So it has worked out just fine. A lot of people have asked me about pilot-stewardess affairs, and how common it is in the airline industry. I’m not sure, but I do know that a lot of my fellow attendants have slept with pilots or co-pilots or other male flight attendants on a regular basis. It just seems to be the normal thing to do. We all see a lot of each other on almost a daily basis, and there’s a lot of intimate contact and talk. So, the next time you see a United or Northwest crew leaving the airport together and heading for their hotel, you can almost be sure that there will be some great sex going on that evening.We are truly UNITED in more ways than one.
