Telling the story now, it has a bit of a fairy-tale aspect to it. I was with the first girl that I really loved, and we were looking for places to go “to be alone.” I was 16, she was 17 and we were both rather inexperienced. We left her parent’s house to go for a walk. We walked all the way out of town, and into the woods.
It was early afternoon in springtime, and it was beautiful. We walked for a while, and then we began to get affectionate. We laid down in the grass and made a fumbling attempt at love.
I won’t go into too much detail, but it didn’t last overly long; half an hour at most from beginning to end. It wasn’t the best sex ever – as I said, we were both inexperienced – but it was sweet and gentle and we were both in love, so we thought it was great.
We ended up going out for about 2 years, and then, when I went to University, we broke up. She’s now happily married and has a beautiful baby boy, and we talk a couple of times per month, and see each other fairly regularly.
