I was an exchange student in the south of Italy. A poor and traditional place. There, I meet a boy who I fell completely in love with because he was funny and smart. We dated for four months before our desire became too much. We had spent alot of time in the sea during the hot Italian summer. He drove me one his scooter to the beach at Policoro.
He had a blanket and a bottle of cheap Italian wine. It was sunset and on the beach of the Mediterrean sea. We made love. It was awkward and beautiful at the same time. There were 2 parachutisits in the sky, circling above.
Believe it or not, this is a true story, and my most favourite and vivd memory of Italy. I have lost touch with this boy now but will never forget how amazing this experience was.
