I was on a vacation to a cottage area. There was a public
beach just down the road and I decided to go there instead
of swimming in the private beach that was part of the
cottage I rented (I wanted some company). When I got down
there I couldn’t help but eye some of the girls. I saw a
few girls playing water polo and as I looked among them I
saw this one perticular girl who was absolutely amazing.
She didn’t “turn me on” and she wasn’t “a total babe” but
there was just something about her that made me go crazy. I
think she noticed that I was looking at her so I looked
away. I soon found that I could not stop thinking about her
and felt that I was in love.
Now for all of you who have never been in love let me tell
you, it is an amazing experience. It was hell, because
every minute that I wasn’t around her was torture, but at
the same time I didn’t want the feeling to stop. It was as
if I had realized something, sort of like my reason for
living. But I digress. I just wanted everyone to know
that. Now on with the story.
Well, a couple days later, someone in the cottaging
neibourhood had organized a little party with grilled food
and such. Well, I went for basically one reason, hoping she
(you know who I mean) would be there. Well, it was a great
party and I met some new friends but I did not see senorita
love interest at the party. It was most disapointing.
However, I found out from one of her water polo friends that
her name was Stephanie and she couldn’t come to the party
because she had to “do something.” They mentioned that she
was interested in meeting me because I was new to cottage
country and they said that I could drop by anytime tonight.
Well naturally I got the hell out of there at that very
second and rushed over the Steph’s cottage (her friends gave
me directions). When I knocked on the door she opened it
and I greeted her and she invited me in. We chatted for a
while and then she told me she had something to tell me. I
came over to her and then all of a sudden she just cried and
leaned on my shoulder. I was startled and I asked her what
was the matter. She told me (after a long time of
studdering and nervousness, that she thought she was in love
with me. At this point you have some idea of what I was
feeling. I was in total shock. I quickly told her that I
loved her too. We all of a sudden started laughing like
crazy and hugging each other. All of a sudden she ran
outside and down to her private beach. I followed her
quickly. By the time I had caught up she was swimming in
the water naked. She yelled: “Join me!” and I jumped right
in.
Right there in the water we made love. It was amazing but,
for fear of ruining it, I won’t go into the details here.
She said she had a wonderful time and she wanted to do this
again with me later. She then told me to go back to the
cottage and wait for her. Naturally I went back and waited,
but she seemed to take a long time. I went back down to the
water to see what she was doing. I stould still just
staring at what couldn’t be true. I saw Steph lying face
down in the water; she wasn’t moving. I ran and dove into
the water faster than anyone ever has. I pulled her up on
the beach. Once there I noticed she wasn’t breathing. I
didn’t know what to do. I performed mouth-to-mouth and I
did everything I could but she still wouldn’t breath. I ran
into her cottage and phoned the near by medical staff. By
the time they got there she still wasn’t breathing. They
examined her and then told me that she was dead. At this
point and broke down. The medics had to stop me physically
from jumping into the water to kill myself. I simply could
not take it. Stephanie was dead.
It’s no been about 3 years since then and I’m still not over
it. I hope from reading this you can understand what is
love. I hope that you have a positive experience with your
