I was in Spain visiting a friend of mine who lived there and I had met while he was doing an exchange program in the US. I had always had a crush on him and the fact that he had a thick Spanish accent didn’t help the cause. I had been there for about a week when we went out to dinner and a club. At about 4am we left the club (we were the last to leave) and he drove home. About halfway home he stopped at this beautiful overlook which we had stopped at the day before and I had thought gave a beautiful view of the city. We started to make out and then took things to the back seat. When it got to the point of whether we have sex or not he asked me if i was a virgin. I told him I was, but since we were friends I would like him to be my first.
He pulled a condom out of the glovebox (he must have known this was coming :)) and I lost my virginity to him there in his back seat. It wasn’t great, but not horrid either. He was, well, not very well endowed so it didn’t hurt that much and I remember thinking “Well, it (sex) could be worse, but what’s the big deal?” I left a few days later and we didn’t hook up for the rest of my trip. He apologized because he felt that it wasn’t right that he was my first and that it should have been someone I was in love with. We remain friends to this day and have seen him several times since. We’ve never talked about that night, but I smile everytime I think about it. It was fine for first time sex, but GREAT SEX came later. And, hey, I get to brag that my first time was with a Spanish boy!
